Chryssa Sofianopoulou is Assistant Professor in the cognitive field of “Analysis of Educational Performance and Computer Training” at the Department of Informatics and Telematics, Harokopio University. She has studied Mathematics and holds a DPhil in Sciences of Education (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens).
Her research interests are focused in topics related to: Education and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), the role of school in the configuration of social structure, access in the Information and Knowledge Society, performance-related social and cultural features, educational policies and practices. She is National Project Manager and member of the Governing Board of PISA (Programme for International Student Assessment – OECD). She participates in international, European and national projects related in their majority to the analysis and management of the educational process and performance.
