I was born in Thessaloniki Greece on 1974, where I live and practice Psychiatry. I have completed the Masters program of the Medical School of the Aristotle University “Medical Research Methodology” and I hold a PhD of the same Medical School with the thesis entitled “Investigation of psychiatric symptomatology in a college student population which is abusing personal computers and the Internet”. I am a founding member and current Vice-president of the board for the Hellenic Association for the Study of Internet Addiction Disorder.
I am a scientific associate of the 2nd Department of Psychiatry of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki since 2011 and serve as the coordinator of the outpatient counseling service for college students for PC and Internet addiction since its establishment on January 2010. During this time I have completed numerous evaluations of college students who were referred for PC and Internet addiction.
My research work includes more than thirty publications in English and Greek and numerous presentations in local and International congresses.
