Rakida Christou is a graduate of the Department of French Language and Literature from the University of Athens. She has done postgraduate specialization studies in Teaching of Languages in UMH University, Belgium. She attended seminars, among others: in the Institut Français on the teaching of French, in the University of Athens in the Development of Human Resources, in the University of Athens in Special Education. For three consecutive years she served at the Directorates of Primary and Secondary Education where she was given the chance to deal with the administrative field of education and especially in the field of Special Education. As an active class teacher, she has been involved for many years in health education programs aimed to the edification of her students in contemporary issues of concern to the younger generation.
