Thomas V. Kotopoulis studied Pedagogy at the Pedagogical Academy of Thessaloniki and the Department of Education of the University of Athens and Mathematics Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Sciences, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He continued his studies in Further Education Marasleio Primary Education of the University of Athens and in 2004 was declared a Doctor of the University of Athens. Since 2005 it has been included in the Register of teaching staff of the National Centre for Public Administration and Local Government and in the Register of Assessors Training Material Certification Office and Multimedia I.E.P. He has taught Mathematics and Teaching of Mathematics in universities and has participated as a speaker at conferences and workshops. Work and studies have been presented at national and international conferences and journals. Today he serves as Director of Primary School Education. His research interests lie in the teaching of mathematics, the use of ICT in the teaching process, the teaching methodology and adult learning techniques.
